It's hard for me to write about music, because it's like the air I breathe, I tend to just let it flow over me, without paying too much attention to who it is I'm listening to.
I like so many different styles, it's really easier to say what I DON'T like, which is basically, Country and Western, most hiphop and most rap. Well, to be honest, there's almost no style of music where I've never appreciated at least one track (except opera) and that's the problem. Once you get past the 1960s, sure there's a lot of dross, but there were decent sounds mixed in with them, and with a field as large as that, it's hard to pick out any particular favourites, especially as they tend to change from week to week.
Lately, I've been too busy to be much involved, though, so I turn on Second Shifters' radio first thing and just let it play in the background as I work. I find that 99% of what they play fits in with my tastes, and some of it even gets the volume turned up.
I do have quite a lot of music stored on my computer, but I've probably played most of it too often, so I guess I need to get some more. I've been recommended K-Lite Club, as they offer free Unlimited mp3 downloads. Worth a look, I guess.
Well worth a visit to see what's happening on the UK Goth music scene is Necromag, who promise if you give them some interesting info on gigs or meets in your area, they'll "get right to it in the way only a gonzo geek can."
